Windows 8 in vmware: low response and troubleshooting

When installing Windows8 in vmware, after restart, the virtual OS may become less responsive and it might take 2-3 seconds to open a folder!

To troubleshoot this, click the settings for the installed windows8

Select “Floopy” node on the left, uncheck the two checkbox on the right side.

This probably suffices. If not try to disconnect CDROM in a similar way. That is it.

    does this actuallyt work because mine doesnt have the floppy checked by default at all…
