SSD boot failure: trouble shooting

14 Mar

Suddenly, my Windows 7 OS stopped working, and all are frozen, mouse and keyboard, no response. Press and hold the power button, restart………………………………………….

Yes, it took really, really long time, and then…

Boot failure! I googled using my Pad, so many different responses.

While the below tricks worked for me:

  1. Go to bios
  2. Check your hard disk display order, which one is the 1st, 2nd. It is highly likely that the disk where you install OS is not the 1st hard disk displayed there!
  3. Change the order of your hard disk, make sure the boot SSD is the 1st hard disk
  4. In the boot sequence, select the SSD drive as the first boot disk.
  5. Restart, done.

Happy rebooting… Smile
