C# Unity3D: The name `AssetDatabase’ does not exist in the current context; `TextureImporterSettings’ could not be found

One of the most likely reason for this problem is the lack of using some namespace!

Similar errors apply for “error CS0246: The type or namespace name `TextureImporterSettings’ could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?”

Solution: add “using UnityEditor;” at the beginning of your script.
