Android phone custom ROM flashing: Battery too low to flash

15 Feb

You might wish to flash some custom ROM to your android device, however it might be frustrating if you see the error “Battery too low to flash” message. Even though you connected your device with your recharging cable to the USB or directly connect it to the AC power, your device won’t get recharged!

To troubleshoot this, you might find solutions here, where a batch script can be used:

" @echo off
:start
fastboot getvar battery-voltage
fastboot reboot-bootloader
ping /n 6 localhost >nul
goto start

Perfect!

But not every one loves to write the script himself, and a GUI utility will be useful for novice users. I hereby developed such a program to fulfill such purposes (which is a wrapper utility for the above command line).

Download the binary file for Windows (requiring .net 2.0) here: http://goo.gl/1Lhyv7. Hope this is useful.
